Dad's love teaching their kids new things. I can't think of a greater thrill than teaching my kid's how to fish, how to ride a bike or catch a ball. I loved being part of teaching them something new for the first time. The excitement on their face when they caught their first fish or rode their bike without help for the first time was priceless. Dads are constantly teaching their children. Kid's watch their dads wanting to be just like him. With those little eyes seemingly always invading dad's privacy, he must watch his words and his actions. Dads are always teaching, even when they don't realize it. The best thing every day can teach his kids is how to be a Christian. Sure that teaching will require some Bible study at times. It will also require dad to live a faithful Christian life in front of his children. Dad can point his kids to the Scriptures all day but if they don't see dad living it out in his life it want make a difference to them. Dads, make it a priority to teach your children things that will make an eternal impact on their lives. "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."(Eph.6:4)
