A Baby Changes Everything

Do you remember when your first child was born? Of course you do. Do you remember how that one precious little baby changed everything? Your life hasn't been the same since, in a good way of course. It's amazing how that little bundle of joy completely changes our lives. I can hardly remember life before our three kids were born and boy did our lives forever change. The theme for our Christmas Eve service this year is "A Baby Changes Everything". It's the perfect theme that we can all relate to. There was one baby boy born a long time ago who literally changed the world. The birth of my babies changed my wife's life and mine but no one else's. This one baby boy I'm referring to changed everyone's life. He changed those who knew him and heard him and continues to change people today by his teachings. By his death he transformed the world and it is still talked about today, a few thousand years later. "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."(Mt.1:21) A baby truly did change everything.
